The most aggravating thing I’ve heard regarding her death is that “she was just a junkie. she deserved to die”.
I never even listened to Winehouse til today, I’d never particularly been a fan. But hearing people say things like that…well…it pissed me off.
Because not only are you disrespecting people who loved her, but you’re also insulting people, famous or not, who have died in the same way, or people such as myself who have family members or friends that are addicts.
You don’t like her? That’s fine. You’re entitled to your opinions. But keep in mind that there are people out there reading your comments who either have lost or very likely will lose loved ones to the same fate.
